Is is said that, Madurai Railway Station, passenger waiting room will have Wi-Fi, television, soft drinks, news paper, books, shoe polishing, and shelves.
RMD Hotel has acquired the contract for maintenance of the passenger waiting room in Madurai Railway Junction
Passengers who wish to wait in the waiting room will be charged 150 rupees for the first two hours, and 50 rupees each additional 1 hour.
If the passengers wish to bath will be given a bath towel, hand towel, body lotion, shaving kit, shampoo. But they have to pay 150 rupees extra.
If passengers wish to have sofas for the first 2 hours they will be charged 250 rupees,
to use computers 50 rupees will be charged and to access internet 20 rupees will be charged.
The room service will provide breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as tea and coffee beverages, timely.
They also provide Landry services and medical assistance.
If the passenger wish to have a separate room, the AC Deluxe Room is priced at Rs 650 for 3 hours, 900 rupees for 6 hours, 1,500 rupees for 12 hours and Rs 2000 for 24 hours.
The suite rooms are priced at 1,000 rupees for 3 hours, 1,300 rupees for 6 hours, 2000 rupees for 12 hours and 2,500 rupees for 24 hours.
