President Ramnath Govind has approved the need for Aadhar card to get bank accounts and a cell phone SIM cards, in a hurry.
To get the state’s welfare benefits, bank account and cellphone SIM card the central government has ordered Aadhaar card is a must.
The case was filed in the Supreme Court against the mandatory Aadhar Card, on behalf of social activists.
In a judgment delivered last September in the case, it was reported that the Aadhar number was mandatory for the state’s welfare assistance.
At the same time, the Supreme Court said it should not declare Aadhaar mandatory for bank accounts, cell phone service and students education.
Now the central government has decided to make Aadhar number mandatory in receiving the bank account and cell phone SIM card.
Last week, the Union Cabinet approved the amendments to the Indian Telegraph Act and the illegal money laundering legislation to bring in the law.
This suggestion was sent to the President Office. Following President of India, Ramnath Govind

Accordingly, it is necessary to provide Aadhaar number to get a SIM card and start a bank account. Those who violate it are said to be fierce penalties.
