After China blocked India’s bid in the UN Security Council to designate Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar as a “global terrorist”
Congress twitter handle shared a video mocking PM Narendra Modi.
However, for film actor R Madhavan the video was in “bad taste” and he slammed the grand old party for demeaning India in front of China.
China for the fourth time blocked the bid by putting a technical hold on the proposal a move which India termed “disappointing”.
The actors’ tweet went viral on social media and got over 25K likes and 12K shares.
Delhi based architect and Congress communication department member Rachit Seth defended the tweet saying no
PM from Pandit Nehru to Indira Gandhi to Vajpayee or Manmohan Singh has been immune to criticism on any issue in this country.
This is not the first time that Congress Social Media Cell has attacked PM Modi.
Last year Congress media cell head Divya Spandana faced the wrath of social media users when she posted a picture a of PM Modi standing at the feet of the Sardar Patel statue with a caption “Is that bird dropping?”
Meanwhile, China has said that it is willing to have more discussions with all parties concerned including India on blacklisting the head of Pakistan-based militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM),
which claimed responsibility for the attack on an Indian paramilitary convoy in disputed Kashmir in February, Reuters reported.
