What happened to Mugilan? Protest in Chennai

All parties and organisations are demonstrating a protest today (March 2) to find Activist Mugilan, mission since Feb 16.

On May 22 last year, police open fire on the protestors claiming violence during the Sterlite plant protest.

Social activist Mugilan published video evidence about this on a press conference in Chennai two weeks ago.

After the conference, he travelled to Thoothukudi in Chennai – Nagercoil special train and he did not arrive destination.

The complaint was lodged with the Chennai Police Department. Friends of Mugilan and Social Activists say that no action has been taken by the Police department

Social Activist has filed a case in the High Court on this issue. As per the decision of all parties and organisation on February 25,

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission was appointed on the disappearance of Mugilan.

This commission collected information on the disappearance of Mugilan.

The commission received information from those who came from Karur and those who worked with Mughal.

The CBCID has been informed by the Truth Commission that 17 groups were set up to find out what happened to Mugilan.

A protest is being held on behalf of all parties and organizations headed by senior Communist leader Nallakannu

near Chennai Chepauk Guest House on Tuesday (March 2) regarding missing Mughal.

It is expected that the information collected by the truth commission will be released in the protest.
